スターバックスのコーヒーが「焼き立てではない」ことは度々指摘される点だ。深煎りが多いのもその辺の劣化を誤魔化すためと読む向きもある。
インド最大の生産者であるタタコーヒーとのパートナーシップにより、少なくともインド国内のコーヒー店では理屈上、比較的鮮度の高いコーヒーが供給可能となるのだろうが、可能ということと現実にそうなるかどうかというのは必ずしも一致しない。
